Introduction: 培育具設計、改善、建置之學識及技術高階管理專業人才，能整合人力、物料、設備、能源與資訊等資源，開創符合人性且高效率之自動化作業環境，以提昇組織之有效決策與生產力。課程涵蓋工業工程與管理之自動化、電腦化、人性化、精實生產、製商整合等多重領域，強調創意思考、系統整合、實務專題研究與製作能力，使之具備運籌帷幄之決策能力。

The Department offers educational programs in industrial engineering management. The goal is to graduate students with the knowledge and skills to become high-level professional managers. Departmental courses are for automation, computerization, more humane management, effective manufacturing and integration of manufactures. These include an emphasis on creative thinking, system integration, practical project research, and decision making abilities. Practical study in the areas of automation, computerization, efficient production, and interactive models are also offered. Students are able to integrate people skills, materials, equipment, energy and information within an automated operating environment, and promote efficiency and productivity.
